Clinical Trails

Aperez, here is an article that just came out which explains a little bit about the idea behind the trial you mentioned:

This is so incredibly exiting! My doc explained how the antibodies worked but this article made it much more clear. I’m so excited to start this trial. I’m going through some tests and am scheduled to start Feb 10. Thank you so much for sharing this encouraging article. I’m hopeful it works and with tweaking can help me and thousands of is fighting SS!!! Many blessings to you!

My biggest reservation with this trial is it’s a phase 1. I signed a consent form but I’m kinda nervous about that fact.

Unfortunately, this is a big lottery but you have no choice but to play the game :-( Good luck!!!

Hi,

I know what you mean Aperez. In Scotland after the standard (funded chemo) max dose of radio and surgery, we have been offered Pazaponib by application for funding so no idea if we will be successful. We can apply for tribectatin too but only through funding application. The docs just don't have much more up there sleeves.

There is a trial running at our clinic (Beatson west of Scotland cancer care) on Dronabinol (synthetic cannabinoids)

Good luck with your trial

A new publication came out about a week ago which discusses recent discoveries on synovial sarcoma:

I read the full publication and the following trials are mentioned:

I think the publication is a must-read for any oncologist who treats synovial sarcoma patients...

Here is another trial:

According to the following article, the patients who are in the trial are doing fine so far:
