Any other possible treatment options?

Hello, Survivors!

My mother is fighting hard and tried many chemos. However, now we are looking for treatment options again.

She already have tried:

  • 6 cycles of Ifo-Doxo (2012 jan)
  • Pazopanibum (2012 dec -2013feb)
  • High-dose Ifosfamidum (2013 march)
  • DTIC+Gemcitabine (2013June).
  • Trabectedin (2013 november)
  • Dendritic cell-based anticancer vaccination in immunotherapy (2014 april)
  • Etopozidum oral (2014 april)
  • No more chemotherapy since 2014 July...

Do you have any ideas for more possible treatments in Europe? anywhere in the world?

Have you tries something else?

i hope to hear some other possible treatment options...

Hello, I am currently in Vienna, Austria for hyperthermia combined with high dose Ifosfamide. It is too early to tell if it works but I will keep you posted. I will also ask the doctor, Ralf Kleef, if he has any suggestions given your mom’s history.
Where did you do the dendritic cells and how did it work for you?

Cheers,
Danie

Hello!

I would be sooo thankful for you if you could ask your doctor as well.
My mother feels perfect about traveling in case!
I havent heard about hypetthermia yet, but I will research about it. Are you on trial?

She does dendritic cell vaccination in Vilnius, Lithuania.
If you need more information I can share with you doctor’s contacts and all the information we got.

There's a clinical trial specific to synovial sarcoma in France:

http://clinicaltrials.gov/show/NCT01469975

Hello, Danie,

I hope you are doing well!

How is your treatment in Austria going?
Did you find NYSO T-cell trial in Europe or only in US?

My mother is still with no treatment options left here in Lithuania and we are looking for clinical trials as well.
Now she gets immunotherapy in Vilnius and radiotherapy course…
