There is a new trial at UCLA targeting NY-ESO-1 positive tumors in patients who are HLA-A*0201 positive. It will test blood stem cells modified to give a constant supply of immune cells targeting NY-ESO-1:

Imho, this is the closest thing we have to a cure. Unfortunately very few of us have the HLA-a marker… :frowning: It’s too bad they can’t do this with a universal marker and nyeso1.

Thanks for sharing. This sounds so promising! Article says up to 40% of population has HLA marker i think.
