Heartbroken, I , too, live in Richmond, VA. I was misdiagnosed 3 times at Massey Cancer Center at VCU. But a doctor there set me up at Dana Farber before he started treatment since he suspected the pathology was wrong. Dana Farber saved me! I have been through 3 years of scans so far with no issues. I get all my scans and have all appointments related to my synovial sarcoma and subsequent melanoma(possible radiation side effect). I cannot say enough good things about Dana Farber’s staff.
