Joan's proton therapy

Joan called yesterday and said the HMO approved Proton therapy for her cancer treatment. She is going today for the consultation with the DR. If anyone has experience with this type of therapy for lung tumor near heart I would love to hear from you. I did notice a distinct difference in her voice and attitude much more upbeat.
