The Nikolas Ritschel foundation runs a Grant Program for young adults (18-24 years old) who have been diagnosed with cancer. Nikolas used to be one of our members who passed away a few years ago from synovial sarcoma. At the time he was diagnosed, he was too old to qualify for the Make-A-Wish Foundation's program but too young to be financially independent. His foundation was created to try to fill the gap for others young adults in his situation:
