Synovial Sarcoma

I was wondering if anyone has tried vitamin c therapy intravenously?

I have heard of this as a treatment, however, not specifically for synovial sarcoma (or any sarcoma for that matter). There are some great articles out there and I've read about positive responses with regards to breast cancer. Do you want me to post some links to the articles?

My son (soon to be 23) has had naturopathic iv therapy for over two years now and it is what we would call successful. The bulk of the iv is vitamin C (I believe), but there are other ingredients such as DMSO (gets the ingredients to the tumors). He started this therapy when he was told there was nothing left, except clinical trials. Since then tumor growth has slowed dramatically. The best part is that he is incredibly healthy sans the tumors and you would never know anything is wrong without knowledge of said tumors. He has had cryonic ablation as well, on remaining tumors and while the entire process is not a magic cancer killing bullet, it allows the body to remain strong while limiting (hopefully making headway) on cancer growth.

AGD, how much does it cost and where did you son have the treatment done? How about the cryonic ablation?

The iv treatments are $125.00 per treatment and he's doing four per week and the cryonic ablation is $25,000.00. Obviously not a low cost situation when one considers that insurance will not cover - unless someone is more fortunate than I.

Considering he's dealing with lung mets and all the positives of these treatments, it's unfortunate (to say the least) that insurance will not cover.

He has the iv treatments with Dr. Colleen Huber, Tempe Az. and the cryonic ablation with Dr. Jason Williams, Gulf Shores Al.

Not cheap indeed :-(

It was recommended by our naturopathic oncologist that my dad start IV Vit C after his radiation treatment.

AGD - has your son been getting IV treatments 4x/week for 2 years?

I am getting Vitamin C as well! http://lyndavscancer.wordpress.com/about/

My blog has more details but I get 25 g a day everyday along with many others things. I am in Tijuana, Mexico but I started this a few weeks before coming here when my doctor in Indiana recommended it.

Yes, he has.

There is a new publication on the subject of vitamin C and cancer for those still interested in the subject:
