I got back from Boston today and it went very well. Great team of professional at Mass. General. Someone had asked the size of the tumor, it was about 3.3 cm. The problem is it was not excised as a Sarcoma so we have to go back in and get a positive margin. I will begin a pre-surgical course of proton therapy beginning Friday foll0wed by a month of recovery then the surgery. It has been a tough couple of weeks but my wife, family and friends have kept me positive.
It sounds like you are in good hands. Your tumor is small so with this 'clean-up' treatment, you should be fine :-) Good luck!
