Last week the FDA advisory panel recommended against FDA approval for Ridaforolimus, a treatment for metastatic soft-tissue sarcoma and bone sarcoma. It looks like Ariad, the manufacturer, is not giving up though. A new study will be presented at the American Association for Cancer Research on April 2nd 2012. It shows the combination of vorinostat and ridaforolimus is synergistic when used in synovial sarcoma cell lines:
FDA disgusts me, they are in it with phamaceutical companies. They don't want to release anything that will kill cancer. They all make way too much "trying to figure it out" So very sad for cancer victims. I wished I had the answer. How dare FDA regulate ANYTHING that may save a life. They surely don't regulate the foods that will kill us all. Sorry so negative, but it all narrows down to the money.
