The SFA (Sarcoma Foundation of America) is having its annual fundraising gala tonight in New York City and around 600 people are expected to attend this year. I was at the SFA Educational Conference yesterday and the organizers announced that a video of the conference will be made available on their website sometimes in the future for the patients who couldn't attend. Noteworthy, this year one of the research grant was awarded to Kevin B. Jones (University of Utah) for the study of beta-catenin activation in synovial sarcoma genesis and progression.
