hello all..my husband is doing well..he had a 2nd major surgery in april..they took a lot of muscle from his neck and chest and the frenic nerve..he is cancer free!...he has such a strong spirit and is back to work..he has some residual effects, such as his right arm works from the elbow down, his neck has a tilt, and he got horner's syndrome in his right eye, but all of that is secondary...our family is just trying to trust this gift we have been given...
How is his breathing without his phrenic nerve?
I am so happy to hear such good news!!!! God Bless you all!!!

his breathing is ok...he does get short of breath with some activities, but only when he overdoes it....the missing nerve allows his diaphragm to "float" up and it presses on his right lung....he gets pneumonia easily....but again, it's minor in comparison :)
