Horrible stomach aches

Hi,

My dad gets HORRIBLE stomach aches about 1-2 days after chemo and sometimes last for 3-5 days. We are going to talk to the oncologist on Tuesday, but anyone have any tips? He is doing his best with trying to stay on top of eating and drinking - but even that doesn't help at times.

Chemo is very hard on the whole digestive system, starting with the mouth and all the way down :-(

Don't worry too much about your dad eating enough or not. Recently, some studies have suggested fasting may actually help during chemo, an idea that would need to be tested in clinical trials of course:
