My brother passed away last week

Hello again, everyone. I've posted a few times about my brother and his fight against synovial sarcoma. I'm sorry to say he died last week after fighting for two years. He was 26. His final days were unbearably painful and he died in discomfort. He was able to see many friends and family members but it was very difficult for all of us.

My heart aches for him, my family, and all of you who struggle against this vicious, unforgiving disease. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help you. My brother would be happy to know his experience helped others in some way.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Both you and your brother struggled over what to do next. Know in your heart that he gave it everything he had. I'm sure he was well aware of, and appreciated all the support from you. Endings are very hard but can sometimes be a welcomed relief. At one time or another we are all called home and to leave the suffering behind. Try to find comfort in his lack of suffering. He will always be with you.

Thank you for offering your help. You're welcome to continue visiting this website and offer your perspective when questions are raised. Only if you feel like it though... There are other ways to help, like fundraising for research.

Your brother was very unlucky with the disease and its course :-(

May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope you are able to find some peace. This is a horrible disease and it seems like we are just now starting to scratch the surface for " real" treatments. My thoughts are with you and your family. Hugs to you my friend.

I am sorry for your loss, happythoughts. Our hearts ache for you, too. I wish you peace and healing.

So very very sorry to hear of your brother's passing. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Praying for grace and peace for you and his family while you deal with the loss of your brother.
