My husband lost his fight

at 19.50 on Friday 22 March, my beloved husband lost his fight against the synovial sarcoma in his abdomen. He went at home surrounded by myself, our children and three of our grandchildren all telling him how much we loved him.

He fought for exactly two years against the disease and was still working up until February 12, his strong lead was followed by all the family as we supported him through five different chemotherapies and various setbacks during this time.

He was greatly loved and admired throughout the world for his unique talent, but for us we have lost a darling, brave man and right now that loss is unbearable.

Thank you for sharing the sad news. May your husband rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss, and yes the pain is unbearable, but I assure you with each day it will get easier. It has been almost two months since we lost my husband and while the pain continues to be here every moment of every day, I do find that each day gets a bit more bearable. Again, I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you and your family.
