2011: Another Year to Conquer Cancer®
Hello, My name is Eugene and I'm a cancer fighter.
I'm also team captain of Team BFFs (Bikes for Family and Friends) .
Some of you may know my story .
I've been fighting this nasty disease since 2004. I've endured one leg surgery, leg and lung radiation, four lung surgeries, and twenty-one rounds of chemotherapy.
My current prognosis: incurable and terminal. So yes, the medical community believes that I'm going to die of this disease. Sadly, there are millions of other people around the world that have or will have the same prognosis.
We are hoping to change that. I've teamed up with my friends and colleagues to join The Ride To Conquer Cancer 2011, benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting BC Cancer Foundation, is a two-day cycling journey, from Vancouver to Seattle that we are embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with our bikes, our helmets, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
Contribute to this history-making event with a donation. Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care made possible through BC Cancer Foundation, a leader in cancer research and care.
